[ conclusion ]

The Kennedy Assassination Homepage is a labyrinth constructed with simple technological tools. There are no dazzling special effects in a showcase of technical proficiency rather a Spartan approach to architecture in order to facilitate the vast documentation relating to the Kennedy assassination, with emphasis on Lee Harvey Oswald as the sole assassin.

Structured as an anthology of sources and resources within a web of information, McAdams’ aspiration to contextualise the documents utilised in conspiracy and anti-conspiracy discourse alike is achieved.

In considering the design, structure and content of The Kennedy Assassination Homepage over the previous segments the construction of McAdams’ historical interpretation becomes apparent. Despite differences of fundamental ideological opinion, I maintain my opening comment that McAdams’ inclusion of such wide-ranging views is admirable.

Ultimately meaning is infused through McAdams’ site through his authorial presence, which he must believe strengthens his arguments whereas others (myself included) feel it serves only to undermine the integrity of the source he biases.

So, if you have a spare six hours you might be able to wade through the maze of Dealey Plaza , bare in mind that is but one of fifteen significant subsections of McAdams’ site. McAdams’ site is worthy of critical engagement if only to dispute some of his less founded conclusions. Thus, McAdams’ site is currently absorbing and potentially of lasting appeal.
